Popular Electric Griddles/Grills Reviews

So I have decided to write a short post describing some of the more popular electric griddles and electric grills. As you may know there are many companies lately that are producing a lot of appliances that are either a griddle, a grill or even a combination of both and other units too. Of course, it's not supposed to be a comprehensive list but a really short one.

Cuisinart Griddler GR-4N Stainless Steel

Although this nice kitchen appliance doesn't look very big at first it's safe to say that it's an average size griddle that would satisfy most of your needs. It's not only an electric griddle, as you might guess if you are familiar with the Cuisinart family of griddlers, but it can also function as an electric grill, a combination of both griddle or grill.

Until now, I have mentioned only 3 of it's versatile positions - there are two other positions that the customer can use with the Cuisinart GR-4N griddler: it can be used as a contact grill or even as a panini press - only you'll be the one who is going to choose what foods you are going to cook with it.

Black & Decker Waffle Baker and Grill/Griddle

Despite it's name, the Black and Decker waffle maker isn't only an appliance for waffles, but it's also marketed as both a grill and a griddle. Unlike the Cuisinart GR-4N griddler that is much more versatile (5 in 1 appliance, remember?) the Black & Decker waffle baker is not very good at cooking certain foods in the long run (apparently, there is a lot of controversy around this issue, but most people claim that in its first few uses this waffle maker is actually pretty good).

George Foreman GGR50B Indoor Outdoor Grill

This electric grill of the famous George Foreman brand is another popular product that is receiving a lot of attention in recent years. Now, it's not similar to a number of other George Foreman grills that have removable grilling plates and are basically countertop grills (for example, there is an older post that is exactly about one of these units - it's the George Foreman GRP99 grill and if you want to read the review about this model instead of the GGR50B design you can simply click on the link).

This model is actually an outdoor grill that can deliver much better results according to numerous people who tried these products. It heats up pretty fast, and despite the fact that it looks really big and bulky (it's actually is bulky when all the parts are assembled), but the stand of the George Foreman GGR50B grill is actually portable and thus make it a lot easier on the user.

Hopefully, this list will expand in the near future and contain some more popular electric griddles and grills that I have been thinking about. However, it'll take some time until you see them here, so stay tuned.
