Where does the Presto Jumbo griddle stands? I am sure that everyone who heard or searched information about the electric griddle have heard about the Presto griddles. Now, there are a number of Presto electric griddles that you can get at almost any store, but probably the most famous is the Presto 07046 Tilt n Drain Big Griddle Cool Touch Electric Griddle that can be tilted in order to help draining the grease during cooking. I have already written some information and reviews about the Presto big griddle so if you haven't read it you can check it out at the archive page.
As I mentioned before, Presto has some more electric griddle models other than the Presto 07046 such as the Presto 07039 Professional 22 Inch Jumbo Electric Griddle that is also known as the Presto Jumbo griddle. I don't own this one but I have to say that this griddle also looks interesting and I believe that it is the second most popular griddle from the Presto griddles.
It's made of heavy cast aluminum according to the product's description (I believe that most if not all of the Presto electric griddles are made of this material) and is therefore not very heavy (which wouldn't cause any more problems with cleaning). The Presto 07039 Professional 22 inch Jumbo electric griddle is definitely a large unit, so you'll thank Presto that made this product light and easy to clean.
And what about the price of this electric grill griddle? It isn't much different from other Presto griddles that are known to be cheap. The Presto Jumbo griddle is also very cheap, especially when you compare its price to the prices of the Cuisinart griddler or the George Foreman grill (which is also a large electric grill, but is not designed especially as an electric griddle). So, with this low price you get a nice electric griddle that is big and light and fully submersible in water for easy cleanup.
According to what I understand, the Presto Jumbo cool touch griddle also has a nice nonstick surface that does a nice job preventing the pancakes from sticking. I am not quite sure about the following thing, but I would guess that the Presto Jumbo griddle has quite the same cooking surface as the Presto big griddle (since its the same company, the same materials, etc) so that the heat won't be distributed perfectly but good enough for cooking nice pancakes and bacon.
Something that is not related to the Presto 07039 griddle but to another indoor grill griddle. I understand that a Sanyo product is getting a lot of attention nowadays so I will try to get some information about it. The previous article was about the Rival Electric Griddle that is one of the few griddles that can actually be folded with ease.
See ya next time :)
